Meh. They haven't been able to sell it to a network, so they need to make their money somehow.

Well, at least we won't have to go through Canada.

Maybe they're going to use the DVD sales as evidence to promote selling brodcast rights to the second season.

Why would the BBC not want to show it on BBC America?

Sort of.

Gelt is the yiddish word for gold, or money. Prior to the westernized custom of giving gifts to children, it was customary to give small amounts of money, or gelt.

Nowadays, most folks use it to refer to the chocolate coins, though some use it to refer to money given as a gift on Hanukkah.

Because the BBC doesn't actually own BBC America, it's a property of the Discovery channel.

Heya :) LTNS :) This, obviously, has nothing to do with your actual post - I just wanted to say hi ;) So...um. Hi. :)

Hi, yourself. :-)

Have been very busy with school, internship and new relationship. How're you?

Good for you :)
School, working, and screwing up the courage to say "yes" should people decide to ask me out. :) I've discovered recently that I'm just a big, fat scaredy-cat when it comes to guys. My automatic answer to the few who ask me out is "No," however much I like them, and I think it's time I stopped doing that.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I have to get back to work, but I've been kind of absent from LJ lately, so I figured I'd drop in ;)
