I love my Dad...
I was watching Enterprise the other night, when my Dad came into the room. Dad's not a Star Trek fan, and is about as anti-Star Trek as a sci-fi fan can get.
Towards the end of the show, the aliens open fire on the Enterprise, scoring a few hits. The following is our conversation...
"Where are the shields?"
"Dad, shields haven't been invented yet, it's a prequel."
"But... it's Star Trek, they need shields..."
Gotta love him...
