aribThe weekend went really well. Services went off without a hitch, much candy pelting did occur (and no, I didn't yell "death from above." *grin*). The two families hit off nicely, as we have until this point, and what little sniping did occur was confined to the back rooms, where other people didn't have to be exposed to it.
Earlier this week, after discussing some wedding-cost related stuff with dad, mom walks into the living room, looks at me and says "Ari, do me a favor, stay single for a while."
I do wish she'd make up her mind. Either noodge me about every woman you see me talking to, or leave me alone so I can "be single for a while."
It's hard enough for me to meet people as it is (and all of the ones I find myself interested in are always either taken, not interested, or some other form of disqualified), and I haven't had a second date with anyone in just about a year, but the overly stupid maternal crap doesn't help any, either.
Okay, that's about as much ranting about my social life as I feel like doing at the moment. There's more there, but I can't be arsed to write it down at the moment.
