I think it is, because I see a rising tide of a certain kind of Christianity in the US, the kind of Christianity that not only encourages but requires using every possible opportunity to 'witness' and a growing acceptance/condoning of said witnessing.

But, I'm not exactly unbiased on the subject. *rueful smile*

I'd consider it newsworthy regardless of what faith-based belief system it was.

This is not supposed to happen. Especially when you consider the fact that one of the passengers quoted the pilot as labelling non-Christians "crazy" and asking other passengers to talk to them about their respective faiths. That's just creepy. If this had been on the street, I would've started walking away pretty fast. On a plane, you're pretty much SOL.

Maybe if it had been a planeful of, I don't know, missionaries. But these were regular people. Who were pretty damn freaked, sounds like.
