- My wisdom teeth and I will be ending our relationship a week from Friday. It's an amicable separation, and I wish them much success chewing elsewhere.

-The extraction will be done under IV sedation. The only part of that which gives me any pause is the amnesiac they'll be including with the sedatives. Optimally, it's supposed to make the process less traumatic by removing my memories of it. Thing is, I've had amnesia before, and coming out of it was damned unpleasant, to say the least. Part of me worries that I'll sit down in the chair, feel a prick in my arm, and wake up forty years later in my house on the moon with a grandkid on my lap. Bouncing a toddler on your lap in 1/6th G is tricky!

- I can't find my BSG dogtags. This irritates me. Frak!

- On the job front (at Company X. Yes, Company X! Floating high above the city in our X-Zepplin!), we're in the middle of setting up a new computer system. This system will automate a bunch of tasks that previously weren't automated, and bring a bunch of different programs together under one roof. Every time someone refers to it as "The System," or talks about how some functionality will be added later, I want to shake them by the shoulders and ask them if "Find Sarah Connor!!!" or "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that!" means anything to them.

-Similarly, when Company X (Yes, Company X! roving the streets in our X-Tank!) schedules training for the new computer system on a Saturday, I want to grab the nearest person, shake them by the shoulders, and ask them if "double, double, triple pay won't make me work on Saturday!!!" means anything to them. (A non-Saturday workaround is being made, and I only needed to mention it once. My boss is actually really cool like that.)

-I'll be in Toronto for the latter half of Passover, and most of the weekend afterwards. That means good kosher sushi!
