Good news, everyone!

Big Finish Productions (www.bigfinish.com or www.doctorwho.co.uk), makers of various and sundry geeky audio dramas (Doctor Who and sundry spinoffs, Dark Shadows, Judge Dredd and many others) now offer many of their works for direct download/purchase.

Yay: I can buy them with relative ease if they interest me, and don't need to get them less-than-legally from the magic antenna. Also, they're significantly cheaper as downloads than as physical CDs ($13 instead of $25), so more proceeds go to the actual company, which I want to support.

Boo: This probably explains why the CDs have become harder to find in the US, especially at Pandemonium, another business I like supporting. I should go buy some Perplex City cards or something.

I'll opine about sound quality and such after I give it a listen.
