Highlander: The Source
Sep. 16th, 2007 10:09 amI've DVRed it off of Sci-Fi, where it aired as a "Sci-Fi Saturday" movie. That should have been my first warning.
I'm about midway through, and it's bad.
Almost Highlander 2 bad. Mediocre acting, flimsy plot, gratuitous violence, and they try too hard to explain underpinnings of the show that don't need explanation.
Yet I can't stop watching it.
and they've brought back some of the Queen soundtrack, if covered by another artist.
A final ruling after I'm done.

From brainless action thriller to surprisingly sappy psudo-philosophical psychobabble.
Maybe not as bad as my original assessment, but still full of meh.
Rent it, Tivo it, or catch it on TV. Don't bother buying it unless the DVD version is significantly better than the original release, like Endgame was.
