I've been summoned for jury duty on Monday morning. Given the paucity of jurors in Boston at the moment, I'll probably end up sitting on a jury instead of missing a day's work.

Oh, well. Best bring some books for the waiting.

Is it bad when I remember a friend's birthday (hi, bluepapercup!) but forget my parents' anniversary which is on the very same day? Especially when said parents are helping pay for my wedding?

Probably.

On the other hand, I remembered to call them two weeks previous, on the anniversary of their first date. (They found love on Flag Day! Yay!)
