Not too many well-thought out posts, not much noodling on current events.

Maybe I'm just worn out from school? *shrug*

In school-related news, I got an A- on my family-systems paper, and the prof spent ten minutes talking with me about how good it was. (She's my academic advisor, we were meeting to discuss my plans for next year. The ego-boost was a nice extra. :-) )

While I don't agree with many of the positions he took, I think the pope took great steps to address many of the concerns that the world at large had with the Catholic church. He also took many steps to end institutional Antisemitism, and helped hide Jews during WWII. For the system he was working in, he did a lot of good.

I hope his successor is up to the task.
