There's someone here from facilities management who has an Irish accent I can only describe as disarming. No matter what people are doing, they'll drop it to do what he asks, and it's pretty much exclusively due to the accent.

I place the blame for this squarely on rosefox.

See, ages ago, she wanted to convince someone to write a Pulp Fiction/Lord of the Rings crossover thingy, just so they could use the line "Elvish, motherfucker! Do you speak it?!"

This weekend I finally received the copy of Matrix: Reloaded that Hyim ordered me for my birthday, after watching it, I have the Merovingian reciting the following bit of dialogue in my head.

"I love Elvish, it's a wonderful language, especially to curse in... (insert lyrical, wonderfully sounding stream of Elvish cursing here) It's like wiping your arse with Rithmil."

I'll go hide now.
