My boss announced that she's leaving at the end of next week.
Only mild chaos ensued. Some of the clients didn't take it too well, but they're adjusting.
On the other hand, two of my co-workers asked the boss' boss if I could have boss' job, rather than look for someone else, which could take months. Flattering as that is, neither she nor I think I'm ready for that sort of thing just yet. Still, wow.
Mom's gone for the next week plus, and Dad's taking off with the two youngest on Wednesday. They're going to camp, he's meeting Mom and disappearing to a hotel for three-four days. Hyim may or may not head to NYC, leaving me all alone.
So, do I party, hole up, home alone, or look for a combo?
