World Cup reflections...

Watched the US/Mexico game today. en Espanol, in fact.

Despite the articles on CNN describing the actions of local fans in Mexico, the fans I saw in the stadium were all really friendly with one another.

The cameraman caught a group of Mexican fans shaking hands and exchanging photographs with some Americans, and I lipread one guy saying "I hope they go all the way" to his neighbor as they were leaving.

It's nice.
