Political rantiness...

So, the big headline on the local paper is about Teddy K insisting that US troops shouldn't be in Iraq, and we should pull them all out right now, etc.

I can understand having issue with going to war in the first place, as there are those who say we shouldn't have been there in the first place. That's fine. I hate that US soldiers have to be there at all, it's a terrible situation and can't be easy on them in the least.

However, we just stormed through this country, threw the economy and local government into chaotic disarray, and Teddy wants us to just pack up and go home without trying to clean up the mess we made?

I know, I know, he's a Kennedy, abrogating responsibility is their raison d'etre. Still, ick.
