This is very stream of conciousness, so please bear with me...
Spending more time in Zion during this film really drove home the fact that the movie takes place in "the future."
Neo's hair's grown back in, I like that sort of attention to detail.
I also liked the fact that the actors in that all-white "traffic control room" were actually jacked into a mainframe of some sort, as you also saw them in the funky dentist chairs in the same scene. (kudos to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

They've got mechs! whee! (and in the third movie, according to the trailer at the end of the credits, they've got *lots* of mechs...)
Smith's gone whacko. Absolutely bugfsck.
I know they claimed that "you couldn't tell that the burly brawl fight scene was CGI," but you could. What impressed me was that it took a good long time before you noticed the CGI.
"Where's Neo?" "He's doing his Superman thing." Even in a post-apocalyptic future, they still have Superman, I like that.
Morpheus is very secure in his beliefs, "I don't share your beliefs!" "My beliefs say you don't have to..."
I *want* Neo's trenchcoat. I'm tall and skinny enough to pull it off, and it looks amazing.
'twas a fun romp, and I can't wait for the next one.
