What next? Autons? The Master? Sontarans?
Feb. 27th, 2008 10:07 pmFox News' website has posted yet another article designed to promote groundless hysteria in the American public. This article describes how terrorists could use remote controlled robots to commit acts of terror upon an unsuspecting (and doubtless God-fearing, white and Christian) public.
The article doesn't surprise me, their choice of illustration does.
While part of me wants to give them kudos for picking a geek-worthy photo, part of me wonders why they didn't go with a robot that would be more recognizeable to the US public, like C3PO, or a Transformer.
Another part of me wants to yell "Daleks aren't robots!!!"
That part of me needs to go out more often.

doctorwho has pointed out that if you rearrange "Al Qaeda" you get "Daleq, Aa!" Which makes for a decent enough warning, I guess.
