Only in today's society...
Can I dial a local phone number, ring someone 6000 miles away, and have a conversation that ends like this:
"Well, I've gotta get to sleep."
"Yeah, I have class in a bit. Have a good night."
"Have a great day... That's weird, isn't it?"
"Yeah."
(For the record, it's my sister. She's doing well, but has been a little too close to some of the rioting going on. Apparently, she takes after her brothers.)
